i'd go to the ciaa tournament in baltimore long before i'd go to the caa tournament in dc and towson even though i live much closer to dc and towson than baltimore. i rather help an hbcu conference than a pwc conference but that's just me... Let it go. He can't, and that's OK. Man is entitled to his feelings. The CIAA is a "storied" conference and lot's of people go to their tournament games and events. When NCAT left the CIAA many Aggies lost their minds, and swore they would never support the MEAC. Some even carried those feelings to their graves. Give it time...remember when NCAT stopped playing WSSU and folks was mad. Back in my day we would have two CIAA teams on our schedule every football season. The MEAC changed the rules, and we didn't look back. We got wssu on the schedule this year, but the days of a home and away equal match up are long gone. Yet, some old school long for what was. Who knows what things will look like 10 years from now as we gain new rivalries with CAA schools. We had the schools we loved to hate while in the MEAC...and even for the short time we were in the Big South I learned to hate GW and Campbell. The same thing will happen within our CAA pod with Elon and Campbell...not to mention Hampton, W&M, and Richmond. All that said, Imma support my HBCU...NCAT...no matter what conference we play in, and that's just me.

I was not a fan of the CIAA Tournament when it was in Charlotte. It was all about the parties and events. 75% of the people who attended had no affiliation to any school in the conference. I used to get annoyed with people asking when does A&T play? The increased shootings every year made it even worse. I was glad to see it go to Baltimore.
