Good win and Coach Rob is doing a great job in the CAA. However, to me this team has the same DNA as his past teams, can't make easy put backs and are bad free throw shooters. They were solid at the FT line over the past 2 seasons.(Years before that, we were towards the bottom LOL) 2020-21 Big South #3 - .714(222/311) 2019-20 MEAC #3 - .747(124/166) I'm more worried about turnovers...The turnovers come once the ladies start passing the ball a lot.

My concern is missed free throws at crunch time not overall %.

If we win out, beating Drexel ( who has a Sister that I heard put up 40 points on somebody), would we be the outright Champs? ( in that we are only percentage points behind them)

Three out of the last four are on the road. We squandered a favorable February schedule losing to Elon and Hampton.
The good news is we still control our destiny. Win out and we finish in first.

Make no bones about it, Drexel's Keishana Washington is a STONE-COLD BALLER. She averages 27.7 pts/gm....high of 42.
Also, 3 of our last 4 games (all away) will be tough, and I believe we could fall out of the top 4 if we lose all 3. Complicating the issue is that it looks like Acox has reinjured her right ankle.

"I've learned in this league that anybody can beat you," said Aggies guard Maleia Bracone, who finished with 13 points, five rebounds, six assists, four steals and zero turnovers. "It's a very competitive league, so we need to make sure we come out ready to go." "It's crucial because we haven't had more than 10 assists in our losses, and today we got 15," said Robinson. "I trust Jordyn and Maleia with the ball in their hands. I know they will make great decisions and did that tonight." ncataggies.com/news/2023/2/19/womens-basketball-a-t-wins-stays-in-contention-for-caa-regular-season-title.aspx

glad we won this game, felt like we "trailed" for almost the entire game but pulled it out at the end. jaz with that "step back" fade away shot off the backboard was a thing of "beauty". akin to bron's fade away that he admittedly stole from michael jordan.
to go to jaz for the final shot was a great call by coach rob, i swear in my mind i was thinking the exact same thing at the time. i was thinking, don't shoot a 3, instead go inside to jaz and let her go to work!
it would've been "heartbreaking" had we loss that game...

Washington can ball but she is only one player . The key is to control the rest . Good players will get there's but if you shut down the rest it's one against 5 .
