Don't do no good to make fancy dunks and you can't make simple layups, free throws or mid range jumpers. This is about dunks, not the other stuff! Everybody loves a great dunk but why highlight that when the basic skills are sub par.

I think it helps Kwe because, he is shorter than the others which, makes it look like he is jumping out the gym. lol, it didn't just look like kwe was jumping out the gym. hail, that dude "was" jumping out the gym, relatively speaking! i mean, "i think" kwe has a better "vertical" than watson. reportedly, watson is 6'6" whereas kwe is 6'2". imo, dunks always look better when a smaller dude does it cuz it almost looks like they're "flying". whereas when a tall dude does it, you don't get the impression that he's jumping as high as a smaller dude. i mean, washington wizards center kristaps porziņģis stands 7'3" tall and when he dunks, you don't get the "ooohs and aaaahs" reaction from the crowd. but when a guy like the memphis grizzlies' ja morant who stand 6'2" dunked, you'd get the "ooohs and aaaahs" because his feet would be so far off the floor, it almost appeared as if he was floating in the air. i think that's why little guys like spud webb won dunking contests...

I don't recall the 80's having a lot of prolific dunkers. Kenny Cox could really jump and throw it down, but didn't have a lot of artistry in his dunks. He wasn't a good ball handler so I always thought that limited him. He was dependent on running off screens for an alley oops or someone feeding him the ball on a fast break. I would put Parker and Watson ahead of him.
I thought Binion was better. At 6'8" he could grab a rebound and go coast to coast or take anyone off the bounce.
Sparrow was a couple years before my arrival so I never saw him play.
My top 3:
1.Parker 2.Binion 3.Watson
