For what it's worth: Sagarin rankings: Colonial 21st; MEAC 29th RPI rankings: Colonial 18th; MEAC 26th Bracketology has UMES as a 16 seed; College of Charleston is a 12th seed Like anything else relating to Black's, you got to look at the source who is doing the rating. You know what I mean.

yes, "head-to-head" records are a better indicator of conference strength than "rankings" which are simply someone's opinion. look, as an meac "loyalist", i'd be the first to admit "from top to bottom" that the caa is a stronger overall conference than the meac. however, there is no evidence that the caa is "head and shoulders" stronger than the meac in basketball. other than coc, the top 4 teams in the meac are just as talented as most other caa teams. and as an fcs conference, the caa is no longer as strong as it used to be before programs like james madison and odu transitioned to the fbs level... Hmmm... I think the most we can say, as I believe several have said and the rankings show, is that the CAA is better than the MEAC. "Head and shoulders" and "much" are pretty subjective and the top 4 MEAC teams being just a talented as "most" other CAA teams doesn't get the MEAC much, depending on what "most" means. The MEAC hasn't beaten anybody above 6 in the CAA while the CAA (11) has beaten the MEAC #2. And let me say, again, I believe Norfolk got LUCKY that we lost our Center early in our game against them. Here's the current tale of the tape: Tied 4-4 Norfolk (3 in MEAC) has won all 4 MEAC games against 6-A&T, 9-W&M, 11-Hampton & 13-Monmouth Towson (2) beat Coppin (7) Drexel (5) beat Del St (6) Delaware (8) beat Del St (6) Hampton (11) beat Howard (2) Of note is 11-Hampton beat 2-Howard

No need to cuss you out when you're incorrect! Simple "You wrong." would do! Roy, you got your opinion and I got mine. I have not seen any teams in the CAA that are much better than the MEAC teams. Charleston is having an exceptional year and that is about it. Quit trying to make the CAA something it is not. Agreed. We each have our own opinions. That doesn't mean an opinion can't be wrong. See my response to OSA.

The reason I did the "Of note..." is because that was the real outlier. The others didn't really make much of a case, except I still believe losing our Center was important to our loss to Norfolk. Related to who beat who, I just listed what's happened and made the 2 points I thought were most important (Hampton over Howard and our game against Norfolk). I don't "favor" any conference. I'm just looking at on field/court performance. And, yes Norfolk's win over UNCW on UNCW's court means something...a lot, actually. But that doesn't make up for whole conference performance to make the MEAC the better overall conference. My position is based on "on field/court performance" and I expect you'll see that the CAA performance is better than the MEAC over more than one season.

Can you agree that the CAA is better than the MEAC and has been for a while? as i've "already stated", from top to bottom the caa is a stronger conference but it "is not" head and shoulders better than the meac. meaning, on average, the caa bottom feeders are better than the meac bottom feeders. but other than coc, the top teams in the caa are no better than the top teams in the meac. last season's meac champs (norfolk) beat last season's caa champs (unc wilmington) "on wilmington's home court" last year. so had that game been the "celebration bowl" in basketball of the meac and caa, the meac would've been crowned the champions over the caa champs. any of the top 4 or 5 teams in the meac could hold their own in the caa. the caa "is not" the power conference ya'll perceive it to be. otherwise, our ladies wouldn't currently be sitting in "first place" of the caa and despite how unstructured our men's team is, they're still currently sitting in the "upper half" of the caa. not bad for a former meac aggie men's team that had only won just "1" meac championship over the last 25 years...

All I know is that the teams in the MEAC gets way better exposure than the CAA. This used to be a game we would play. Now we are stuck with god awful Flo Sports. The move was not as great as people made it seem. We already put ourselves in the out skirts of HBCU sports and this CAA move has put on the outskirts of mid major sports as far as exposure goes.
We will just regulate ourselves to posts like this as we see all our peers gettin national attention while we hope and pray that the streaming service on flo sports doesn’t stall too much.
I always think of things in the long run .. I’m really nervous of becoming TSU..

As I originally asked; "I noticed NCCU (10-10, 3-3) is at NSU (14-7, 4-) on ESPNU tonight, have other MEAC games been broadcasted this season? If so, what games are remaining?" crickets!!! Were any of the MEAC's Monday night games broadcast anywhere? I tried find the UMES at Howard game, nothing! I should have drove over there instead of watching our game.

Bro if they play one game on ESPNU and it’s not just one then they in one game already blew us out the water in exposure. CBS sports does not even compare to ESPNU..
The fact is the MEAC and SWAC have signed a 6 year deal with ESPN for football and basketball. Whatever the deal is it will be better than Flo Sports.
There is a reason no other conference gives them exclusive rights. These are just facts.
