Interesting that they band is not doing any preseason BOTBs...i was also hoping with both Norfolk and Hampton on the schedule we would get at least 1 Gym Battle in. Ah Well...

At the end of moving my daughter into her dorm for her freshman year the BGMM came through campus. My daughter and I ran out to the street just like I did my 1st day in AggieLand!
I was able to thank our band director for moving to the endzone!
Let's go!

Can we get some Latin and/or Caribbean flavor though? We are Aggies and part of the diaspora too! I've heard where once upon a time the BGMM played No Woman No Cry. Shoot, to start there's plenty of stuff/bangers from Jamaica, DR, PR, Brazil, Cuba, and Colombia to choose from - definitely way more (and better) than just J-Lo. That would be epic and different!! Personally, that would even make my year.

You pizz them off and there's no soup for you today. I just shut up and enjoy whatever they are playing. And that's been excellent for decades! |

1969, I hear what you're saying. Let's be honest though, what HBCU band takes requests? However, people do routinely throw around songs that they would like for their favorite band to play or bring back into rotation. It's no different here, amongst ourselves. Seinfeld?? Nope never watched it. However, being the innovators that the BGMM staff and members are, it is not outside of their purview or capacity to extend and deepen their book with the likes of any suggestion(s) made here.

Also alot of these new kids are not familiar with the Go-Go sound . |
