He is not even listed on the website. Are you sure he wasn't just a volunteer coach?

Nevermind. I found the answer to that question:

Coaching is a tough business. I hope that all these guys can find a good landing spot.

Hope he brings his own luggage & it's Gucci, Louis, or MK.
Keep the strength and conditioning guy & bring in a S&C STAFF.
NEW OC, as well.
Given dude is from Atlanta, I guess our love affair with the 404 as well as the 757 will continue. I'm one of the BDV posters "railing" about ignoring local talent because it's true. I hope Hilton levied an expectation to connect with 919/336/252/980 high school coaches.
We shall see...

I wouldn't keep Barnette based on how we've scored under his offense. And Brown shouldn't feel obligated too. Holding things down was for the University, but Coach Brown deserves to pick his own staff as he sees fit, not because someone wanted to keep their job, so they did what they had to do.

I hate it; but I agree that we need to move on from Barnette. Too predictable IMO. That said, he will be picked up by someone and he is HC material down the road.

I’m sure Coach Brown and staff will have their contacts and kids they want to recruit and coach. It’s not terribly important where they come from to me so long as they represent the university well and graduate and enjoy their time in Aggieland.
I’ll trust Coach Brown on it.

Watching video of the last game Brown coached at W&M.
Not sure how much you can take away from one bad loss, but it was pretty evident that them boys did not want to be out there in the freezing cold.

I coached a championship game in 25 degrees and snow. We went into the game undefeated. The kids forgot everything I'd ever taught them and wanted to go home at halftime. It was one of the most frustrating things ever. LOL

Here's a idea of what we might be seeing with the Blue Death Defense under Brown:

Here's a idea of what we might be seeing with the Blue Death Defense under Brown: At a minimum, it gives other teams another thing to prepare for. Sometimes they may not have the athletes capable of executing very well against one or the other (3-4 or 4-3). Of course, we'll need to have the athletes needed to run the different defenses. Let's go!

I blame you for not reminding me that we had a home game yesterday. If I was in the house we would have won.
