Are you N.C. A&T's BIGGEST Fan? Are you hype, passionate and ambitious? Apply to become an official student section leader. Get hyped at games, receive exclusive perks and create something new. Help us make the Club Corbett the hardest place to play in the CAA. Athletics is looking for 3-4 students who are ready to cheer at games, work hard and leave at legacy at N.C. A&T. docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSeDzzITzidEYcWbrXE27MQ8Dg1bAfwU5-3uY7XKZHmGFUCaOA/viewform

I wish some of the more popular previous student leaders would help advertise this. Darren Brand was the absolute man during my tenure especially in Corbett.

Not sure what that means but McCluney was instrumental in getting the student section organized. If they can repeat that effort this season it could really make the gym environment electric on a nightly basis.

I know whoever they get needs to (want to say 'better do'): - Get the student sections to make a lot of noise and distractions when other team is shooting free throws. - Do a better job of heckling the other teams while play is going on...identifying a player to boo/call their name when he/she has the ball - And as much as it's something "others" do, I like the "You can't do that." when a player from the other team does something wrong. - Etc.
Let's go!

This has also been on Twitter. My only question is why wasn't this sent out before the season started. A few weeks or a month before the season. We're almost done with the ooc schedule.

It is unfathomable to me on how we can’t figure this out. We have one game that sells out basketball. That is Greek night .. so why are you looking for 3 or 4 ambassadors.. the divine 9 is your ambassadors .. every year sense I have been alive.
If they would hire me all of this would end in seconds .. This is how you fix this and create a lasting culture as we look to expand the number of students to 20k over next few years.
1. You get the divine 9 to commit to do a divine 9 walk in.. you make it a tradition do it before every game.
2. You pay each group 1k to participate
3. You create a competition that the students are involved and select a winner of the best girl and guy step teams or group and the winner gets grand prize of 5k to 10k at the end of the season ..
It takes money to make money. Greek night had 5,700 attendance 5k students and maybe 500 reserved section folks. Arguably you have at least 4k kids at 10 a pop that’s 40k .. investing 10 to 15k into the only group that can sell out your stadium is totally worth it.
You can save $ on the Simon Says guy and give it to people who can bring bodies in the stadium
You could also repeat the same exact process for football
If I was a betting man you could probably get a corporate sponsor to pay for all of it and not cost the school a dime

So you would make every home game Greek Night? But wouldn't the novelty eventually wear off if you did that?

Not saying I don't like your overall idea, but you aren't getting $40k a home game. That money has already been allocated in student fees. The only money you are making are off of reserve sections and general admission (not students).

Some of you on here wanted a " Wine and Cheese Culture" will that's basically what you have . As with all things it's about promoting/ promotion. That is something that continues to plague A&T . Keep the Cheese 🧀 and Change the Wine 🍷back to 20/20 or Thunderbird .
