I hope he is the only one that decides to enter the portal. Don't hold your breath. There will be a few others to leave. There will be a few that we gain from the portal who could have an impact. I personally believe the core will remain intact.

I understand being about to graduate and its an education move and maybe A&T dont have what you wanna do in grad school. So you might as will go play at a bigger school as a grad transfer with 2 years of eligibility left, but is King a P5 talent?

He most certainly has the speed to definitely be considered G5 and P5 if he can add 15-20 lbs to his frame.

I know you can’t answer this but why would he need to Tutten is on the Patton Watch list. It difficult for me to believe or accept that he needs to transfer for exposure.

I understand this could happen to any recruit whether from HS or from Portal, but I wonder do these young men take into consideration, a P5 has the resources to bring you in have you on roster and you never see the field
Now yes all these guys think they are the best player on the field as should be your mentality as a player but, your a known commodity on your current roster, your spot is guaranteed for the next 2 years, why jeopardize that by going to situation where you'll potentially be 1 of 8 guys with the exact same skill set, size, and ability and get loss in the sauce.
Don't want to make any correlations but it sounds eerily similar to the whole A&T leaving MEAC/BS for CAA. So I guess thinking of it that way what's good for the goose should be good for the gander.
I do wish the young brother much success whether he finds a new home or wants to win a CAA title.

I just hope these guys have some inside information before they roll the dice in the transfer portal.
Hopefully they spoke with a coach at another school on the low and got some assurances that they will have a definite role waiting for them.

Like Monster said, I assume if he's close to graduating he's making the move primarily because we don't have a program he's interested in at the grad level. Remember Noel Ruiz? i can't fault him at all if that's the case.

never like to see an aggie transfer to another school, but i certainly do "respect" their right to make that decision. no hard feelings from me in that regard. the young man has a mind of his own and makes decisions that he feels is in his best interest.
so i wish him the best. and as the ole saying goes, "next man up"!

I just hope some of these guys are getting the correct information from the correct people. I wish everyone well that wants to leave.

For me as soon as he walks with his degree , his obligation from my point of view has ended . Stay are transfer he has fulfilled his contract . Yes I would like to see him stay and walk with his graduate degree but that's his call . Good luck to the youngman. Next man up .

Hate to see King go, but I was never concerned at the LB spot with the depth we had, as long as Roberts doesn't leave. What we need to be looking at the in the portal is quality D-lineman and O-lineman.
