I have tried my best to give this series a chance, but it is honestly the most boring Star Wars project Disney has dropped in years. This is way worse than the Bad Batch cartoon series. The pacing is super slow and I have no emotional investment in the main characters. Is anybody feeling this show?

Yup. Felt the same way when it first started, but it REALLY picks up after about the 3rd episode. I have about three episodes left and I hear that it only gets better. I'm kinda feeling it but it took me a second. Lol.
Also, the dialogue is much richer and has far more depth than your typical Star Wars script. Some really great writing in this series. It's like a Star Wars political drama unfolding and the writing is far better than what we've seen previously from the franchise.

Dude, if I give this series another shot and it ends up being a complete waste of time, I will never forgive you.

One of the best things I love about it is how it provides a layer of complexity to the Star Wars canon. Over the years we have reduced Star Wars to a story of Jedis and the force against the evil Empire. Light sabers and Storm Troopers. Then this series comes along and shows us that there are actual people within the universe who are trying to survive this saga on a daily basis. Fighting back....without light sabers or any mention of the force.
Like I said, its a political drama and it developed into a damn good one too. Great acting. Great writing.

Dammit, I hate admitting when Freeze is right ... but man, I binged watch the entire series this past weekend and this is now my new favorite show. lol
Like 96 said, the acting and writing is just next level. I honestly hope they keep this same tone for all upcoming Star Wars projects.
I especially like the subplot of the prison camp that was actually building the Death Star. That was a genius plot twist.
Glad you guys convinced me to give this another chance.

Can't say enough about the writing and acting in this. Chef's kiss.

Imagine if they would had this tone and writing for the Boba Fett series. I almost want a re-do now.

I love the Mandalorian. It's had a few hits and misses but for the most part I really enjoy it. It's the Obi Wan series that was TRASH.

Biggest problems with Obi Wan were the acting and writing. That young princess Leia actress was extremely annoying and the Third Sister character had no purpose whatsoever. They actually contradicted Star Wars canon several times with the Young Luke Skywalker chase scene and the extra battles against Vader.
I was ready to tap out on my Star Wars fandom forever after that debacle. But this Andor series gave me A New Hope (see what I did there).

Let me say this about the Boba Fett series....we don't need a follow up. We don't need a follow up to Obi Wan either.
