Perhaps by season end the senior will have replaced the sophomore as the starting MLB. WF bought in Roberts for a reason and I don't think it is to back up someone....IJS |

What do you think their reasoning was? He may become their starting MLB at the beginning of the season. Who knows. But right now he is listed as the number two guy. Hopefully, that will change.

WF bought in Roberts for a reason and I don't think it is to back up someone....IJS Wake runs a 4-2-5 as there base defense and uses multiple linebackers in their system . So Roberts is setting in a good position to be one of the two . |

Looks like Jacob went for 7 tackles -including a sack and half TFL - 2nd leading tackler. Happy for him but sure do miss him and TyQuan King.

Cmon boys, 2 things can be true. Roberts is a helluva football player - not sure he is an all conference CAA player as I enlightened someone on a different thread. And he could be just a guy at Wake.
We can be disappointed he's not with us, but we should absolutely root for that young man because he never cheated us. We certainly could've used him last night though I thought we held our own on that side of the ball.

As I have said be for " some on here make me wonder " Roberts is a good football player period especially for A&T and in the Big S***it . The same people that are dropping Salt on the youngman now (you know who you are) were calling him the next LB best linebacker Prospect in the big s*** . But now out of the same mouth or mouths your talking about the youngman as if he was a scrub . Who cares if he was not an FCS All American what is important is what he does at Wake Forest. Some of you need to get from behind your computer Google and everything and learn to understand the game because I think a lot of you have never participated in sports at all at this level let alone or any level Pop Warner included as a player or even a coach. Who knows what may happen at wake for Robert's but Robert's is a baller and will be on the field in the rotation. Like all transfers you have to earn your bones to get on the field.
