The AD is taking and answering questions. I already asked about the ticket prices. Log onto Facebook and voice your concerns.

How did you even find out this was happening today?

My takeaway from that podcast was that 1) we rushed into the CAA move, 2) we will not have the money to successfully compete in the CAA for the foreseeable future and 3) our short-term plan is just to ask our coaches and support staff to be creative and try to make a dollar out of 15 cents.

We have to be like my Grandmother when I was young, she a a pound of hamburger 🍔 and feed 10 kids.

I think after watching this podcast for a third time, I feel worse about our situation than I did yesterday.
We really have no immediate plan to address any of the major issues we are facing with this CAA move.
These next 2 years might be brutal.

Tennessee State & Grambling tried it, and they’re a combined 3-12 in the 2022 season. Only thing they’ve improved in is social media since they’re NFL hires (which we could definitely benefit from). They might’ve jinxed the star NFL coach method.

I have to agree that I was disheartened from the fact that they haven't even started the silent portion of the Capital Campaign. It shouldn't take an Act of Congress to hire staff. Especially with some of them being backfilled positions.

I think the transformation committee and subsequent CAA move are forcing Earl and his staff to move way faster than they want to. However, with the NCAA basically forcing us to hire more people, I think we won't be in the doldrums for very long, if at all in some sports.
There's going to be a spending floor in some shape or fashion and/or other requirements for D1 membership that will force us to spend more on athletics.
