Also update for those wondering: They give out tickets to the kids attending open house. Why it’s still that sparse idk Wait. We were told the tickets were $19 for Open House attendees that got the yellow wristbands. I bought a ticket for my daughter. I never heard anything about tickets being "given" away.

Only because King got the unsportsmanlike, and Jacob's subsequently got the INT.

Only because King got the unsportsmanlike, and Jacob's subsequently got the INT. Yeah. I had only seen him in street clothes before. Glad he got some burn. No matter the reason. Might need him. Also, Ofurie hasn't dressed for the last 2 games...at least. Anybody know the exact reason why?

for the last 2 or 3 seasons i've been "begging" that our oc take what the defense gives us by throwing short passes to take advantage of the 10 or 15 yard "cushion" that defenses give our receivers. so i fully support quick passes to receivers on the line of scrimmage or in the slot. however, i don't like the bubble passes to our receivers that we're doing because it "telegraphs" to the db's that the pass is coming long before the qb even throws the ball. as a result, our receivers are getting "blown up" at the line of scrimmage no sooner than they catch ball.
instead of drawing the opposing db's to the line of scrimmage when our receiver takes a couple of "drop steps" behind the line of scrimmage to receive the ball, why not have our receiver run a 2 or 3 step "comeback" route to force the db "away from the line of scrimmage", as the qb releases the ball as soon as our receiver comes out of his break. that way, the db doesn't have time to "blow up" our receiver because he must first "back paddle" and then attack the line of scrimmage which gives our receiver plenty of time to make the reception and turn up field "before" the db can react.
as it is now, our receiver does this little flare/bubble pattern behind the line of scrimmage which is a dead give away to the defense and all it does is get our receiver blown up...

Roy you are correct; there was only a discount not a giveaway.

That Ed Waters, talking about a team that doesn’t care about being flagged… seems like they weren’t gonna be the little boy beat up at the playground. Didn’t do themselves any good there with major discipline issues.

TE's/H backs can be used to run bubble routes and be just as effective at a receiver can . Yes the OC called a good game but his offense continues to show a complete lack of imagination to be able to evolve .

Wow Saab, strong feedback regarding the OC. I actually did see some imagination last week albeit against inferior competition.

I willing to bet saabman did not actually watch the Edward Waters game last week. That's interesting 🤔 but I did watch the game not only ones but twice (DVR) and all I saw was a basic game play..i.e things we should have been doing all the while , finally being done . Now that maybe imaginative to you but not to me .
