Trash. Pure trash. May be the worst Thor movie out of the four. Hopefully Black Panther 2 will help to reset the MCU tone cause the trailer for it is outstanding.

Not better than Ragnarok, but the 1st two Thor movies were not much to write home about…

The third act was really bad, but it was pretty fun up until then.
They definitely have decided to use Thor movies as just comic relief for the MCU. I guess this was done to balance out the last Dr. Strange movie which was kinda dark.

Wayyyyy too jokey. You can tell the director is a real cornball. Ragnarok is one of my favorite MCU movies. But the director just went overboard with the corniness. They created a god of dumplings for crying out loud. A god of DUMPLINGS. If I had tomatoes or cabbage on me I would have thrown it at the screen after that. And the relationship between Thor and his hammer was just stupid. It was fine after the first joke....but by the fourth and fifth joke it just got out of hand. And the screaming goats. How many times did the director think that joke was going to land? It was bad man. Wouldn't watch that again if you paid me to.

Yeah, there was a lot of fan service and references to popular memes.
It's a shame because a lot of the story lines could have been really interesting if taken seriously. They actually tried to make a joke out of Jane having stage 4 cancer. SMH.
Also, I am not looking forward to a bunch of Greek gods in the MCU. Nobody asked for Hercules.

I will save my $20 and wait till it streams based on these reviews.
They are trying to bring in more comic book characters and storylines to satisfy comic book heads. There was a Hercules character that was part of the Avengers.
I am ready for this Black Panther 2. I think Shuri is going to take the mantle like in the comics.

Shuri is definitely taking the mantle and I'm cool with that. I think Marvel may be on the verge of character overload. The first three phases slowly introduced a core group of well known characters. But now with shows like Ms. Marvel, Moon Knight (which teased the future inclusion of Blade and Black Knight), the Eternals (which teased the future inclusion of Star Fox), upcoming television series with She Hulk, Dr. Strange and the introduction of his comic book wife Clea, AND the planned introduction of both the X-Men AND the Fantastic Four....to say this is all ambitious is an understatement. Not to mention Black Panther 2 is going to bring in an entire new world beneath the seas with Namor (well...I'm actually excited about that). Marvel got a lot going on. Maybe too much. And now they want to bring Hercules into the MCU too? Too much.
