What would be a good amount of players we signed tomorrow. In my opinion I say less than 10. Because after tomorrow night there will be a lot of quality players still on the board. And the Blue and Gold would look great on them. Plus the transfers will get better after spring game. Plus we will know our strength and weaknesses and can focus in on the priorities. But for some reason I think we will have a huge impact player tomorrow. Can't wait til AGGIE One first post I'm gonna say 15-20. 5 or 25 I just want some DOGS

The young man strikes me as a "Thumper" type of linebacker which, I can definitely appreciate. We've had good linebackers in the past but, not necessarily a "Thumper" type. What I mean is, when he comes to hit you and make the tackle, that's where you go down to the ground. There is no running after the contact, he hits you and you hit the ground. I think Kyin Howard, from a couple years ago, fits "Thumper" for me. He was…forgot about him.

i'm not gonna have high expectations for the recruits coach brown signs on signing day primarily because he apparently got off to a "late start" recruiting for a&t. i remember when we first hired coach broadway and if my memory serves me correctly, his first aggie recruiting class was "extremely small". of course though, it was more difficult for coach broadway to recruit his first class cuz we were coming off of a 1-10 season and not far removed from a 27 game losing streak.
so at least coach brown is following a 7-4 season and a program that's recognized for winning championships. so he doesn't have a big obstacle to overcome like coach broadway did. but i still don't have high expectations for coach brown's first class. its his 2nd recruiting class that will tell me something about his recruiting ability...

Do you think he is a better FB or Track prospect? He was mentioned to be at the top of the Fla track list

Do you think he is a better FB or Track prospect? He was mentioned to be at the top of the Fla track list Florida his him for both , but Track is offering him more . The good thing about Florida is they have a history of allowing there track athletes to play football also or football players to compete in T&F . The football team is looking at him as a receiver or DB..i.e position change because of his height . Which in my opinion would be a wise move on his part . Personally I think Hooker is going to surprise some people with his choice. Having talked with the youngman. The impression I got is he is an Academics first athletics second type of individual not looking for the NFL but only seeing it as a Plus if he gets the opportunity . In answering your question T&F is his upside at this point in his development. But it's always good to have other options when it comes to sports.

Too many proven returning receivers in front of him and depth at the WR position for him to break through for at least a couple of years. Wish him well wherever he goes.
