Hopefully he's a dawg. They play a different style of football down in GA. That is one pipeline you can't miss on, and Brown is using his home state connects I'm sure.

You can stay on your high horse if you want to but facts are facts, and no football is NOT football regardless of state. Georgia has 151 players in the NFL, while NC has 58. The competition is way different.

From his film he can cover and hit. Probably covers better than any backer we had in recent years.

The young man strikes me as a "Thumper" type of linebacker which, I can definitely appreciate. We've had good linebackers in the past but, not necessarily a "Thumper" type. What I mean is, when he comes to hit you and make the tackle, that's where you go down to the ground. There is no running after the contact, he hits you and you hit the ground.

You have your upper tier programs and your lower tier levels and at each level there are sustainable programs and conferences that compete for championships year in and out, and then you have the others . A player can either be a baller or not that is to be determined by the player not the state he is from...i.e Tariq the kid Cohan , Bell,McCain and many others . It's not the state but always the players/player.

The point is there's more of a talent pool in GA than most other states period. The sheer number of 4 and 5 stars just in GA alone is not even comparable to most of other states, and it ranges from private to 7-A. It's a reason for that. Football is king in GA, just like TX, and FL.

What would be a good amount of players we signed tomorrow. In my opinion I say less than 10. Because after tomorrow night there will be a lot of quality players still on the board. And the Blue and Gold would look great on them. Plus the transfers will get better after spring game. Plus we will know our strength and weaknesses and can focus in on the priorities. But for some reason I think we will have a huge impact player tomorrow. Can't wait til AGGIE One first post

You can see that by the number of so called Star players that are in the transfer portal because they never see the field at there previous schools. Then we get them as hand me downs and think we got a super star in the making. My focus is on the individuals regardless of what state they come from .

I think Kyin Howard, from a couple years ago, fits "Thumper" for me.
