Carnegie Foundation Classification of R2 or higher. (Required at time of proposal) 2. Research and engineering capabilities in autonomy. (Required at time of proposal) 3. Research and education consortium with other HBCUs and with defense organizations. 4. Plans to increase the number of graduates in DoD-relevant STEM disciplines 5. Plans to support the implementation of the DoD Mentor Protégé Program (MPP) where eligible small businesses expand their footprint in the defense industrial base. The award will be a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with a ceiling estimated at $90,000,000. Anticipated annual funding is estimated at $12,000,000 per year. UARC re-certification will occur every 5 years as long as requirements continue to be met. Please review the remainder of this announcement for additional information.

Award to be made sometimes this month......I'll watch for it since i occasionally receive government awards.... I just went back to look at the opportunity announcement and proposals were due Nov 2022......no way the award to be made this month....maybe Apr/May 2023 for award?

This is going to fail miserably!!! None of the schools below are leaders in the field of engineering and technology. The university's primary mission will be to establish or maintain the essential engineering, research, or development capability in the field of tactical autonomy in support of critical Department of the Air Force and Department of Defense missions. Should have had an Aggie in the admin. with more pull than VP Harris. Her presence as the VP has helped Howard tremendously.
