He's not been really active on Twitter post-pandemic at all. We'll see if it is at the front of mind at all today. That obviously needs to change if for no other reason than recruiting. My first impression from reading his interview is that he has a demeanor that is closer to Washington than it is to Ross or Jones. We'll see.

He "officially" starts his tenure today. Expect all the minutia to flip over after the Monday holiday. Why not today 😂 I don’t understand the delay, like why didn’t know this was coming two weeks ago All that NC State stuff should have come down after the NCAA track finals ended as that marks the end of track season and his duties at NC State. There is noway State allowed him to continue in any major capacity after he took the job at T……. |

Does anybody even know Johnson contact release date from NCSU ? It could be has you have stated above . Most likely you are correct for physical year budgeting accountability . Some programs require even the assistant coaches to fulfills the terms of their contract or get a waiver of release from HR . |

Allen Johnson now in place at NC A&TTo say that NC A&T’s new head of track & field programs Allen Johnson is hitting the ground running this week would be an understatement. Johnson, 51, once the top hurdler in the world, is fresh off being in charge of male sprinters and hurdlers at the just completed World Track & Field Championships in Eugene, Oregon. If the performance of his athletes in Eugene is any indication, he’ll do fine at A&T.
