HBCU Gameday's source is confirmed. While it's dirty and shrewd work for Coach Ross, He's a first-ballot A&T Hall of Famer. I agree...What would Randolph get out of running at Tennessee instead of going pro? Even though Coach Ross says he will let him make his own decision, I personally think he's doing it just for his dad.

Hell, dad has a big new job and son can help him make a big splash immediately. Good luck to them both and I hope next T&F season they place just behind A&T!

There’s an article where his dads mentions telling him about the feeling of winning it as a team and how it stays with you forever, etc

my only gripe about Junior leaving for Tennessee is that when he wins the 400 at next year's NCAAs, Tennessee gets the credit for having the only 3x defending 400 champion.

The first two will always have A&T attached to them . It will only show A&T two Tennessee 1 ship's in the individual NCAA T&F record books.

Javonte will also be joining Coach Ross “I’m happy to be able to go to Tennessee,” said Harding. “To go to a Power 5 school in the SEC is pretty big for me, mainly because I’ll be the first person in my family to go to one of those type of schools for athletics. I’m going to have to take some time and get used to the environment and stuff. HBCUs and PWI, there’s gonna be a little bit of a difference.” hbcugameday.com/2022/06/23/javonte-harding-joining-rosses-in-tennessee/

Randolph Ross has today been issued a Notice of Allegation by the AIU alleging a violation of Rule 2.5 of the World Athletics Anti-Doping Rules for tampering with the doping control process. The allegation arises out of the athlete’s conduct during the course of an investigation into a potential whereabouts violation. There was an unsuccessful attempt by the AIU to test Mr Ross on 18 June 2022 and the investigation into this matter concluded when Mr Ross was interviewed by the AIU in Eugene on 14 July.
The AIU has imposed a provisional suspension on Mr Ross with immediate effect and Mr Ross will not take part in the 400m heats on 17 July.

Uh oh. I didn't know there was even such a thing a "whereabouts" violation. Unfortunately there's "drugs" aligations involved in this violation. I don't know anything else but I do hate this drama for the young man and possible blowback on our University. The "haters " will have a field day with this news.

With Ross not running at world's, A&Ts shot at being the first HBCU to have a bowerman winner are gone...
Wish junior the best with this situation tho...
