Do they have any legal recourse? There is always away to legal recourse with the right attorney or legal of firm . Keep Benjamin Crump on speed dial .

I hate to beat a dead horse to death but damn "About The Grass" on this site has 67 pages. The outrageous and prejudice treatment the ladies from DSU only has 1 page.
What has changed about how our women and black people as a whole are treated. Seems as though not too many people are concerned about this situation.
Damn!

ab2, In fairness, "the grass" has a four year head start. LOL.
Unfortunately, the reason this story got no traction is because there was no violence or the threat of violence on video. Twitter/social media and traditional media need cussing, a gun, an arrest, an argument, a fight, or worse. At a minimum someone could do a compilation of these types of incidents to build a stronger storyline. Maybe the Howard and Del State lacrosse teams share their stories of traveling in the South in a non'traditional sport (or something like that). Write a book, do a segment PBS, or Roland Martin, or 60 minutes.
It is worrisome, this is what my parents had to deal with.

Maxell Pleeeez!! Listen to what you said.
This is a case of where these ladies were treated unfairly, unnecessarily, with no proable cause and their personal property and probably them searched unlawfully.
You talking about no violence occurred. It could have escalated to that point with those dumb a$$ cops acting a damn fool.
Have you not forgotten how many black people have been killed by cops for no reason.
Those cops verbally assaulted these young ladies in threatening tones. They put fear in these young people's hearts and mind. That is one step lower than actual violence.
I used the "Grass" example as to how we place more emphasis on certain situations of less importance than something very important.
I am just shocked that more people have not responded about this outrageous act of disrespect towards our DSU ladies.
If they had been Aggie ladies treated this way would the lack of concern still be the same?

Click Watch on Youtube below for the Roland Martin segment that aired tonight.

Hope everyone has the time to view this. I tried to find this incident in the AJC newspaper but without success. I thought the major networks would have it as prime news but have yet to see it. Unfortunately, this is not just a southern thing. The Jersey turn pike use to be notorious for this as well as the Maryland and DC area.
