The fact that the university still refuses to even officially acknowledge the $18.91 CLub is the biggest detriment to its growth. With an official endorsement from the Chancellor and the AD, it could take off and get a whole new set of donors that may not have been reached in the past by conventional means. It's approaching $10,000 with little or no broad intentional marketing. The "soft opening" has been successful.

Athletics fundraising should fall under Ken Sigmon…not really impressed with how it’s currently being ran.
Should be a full time job versus being ran by volunteers

BTW, ALL OF US had issues as undergrads. They need to get over it. Let them know we have been underfunded by the state $287 million since 1982. And who know how much before then. now you're barking up the correct tree! Sent from my SM-G950U using proboards

It is a full time job. Shamika Pyfrom Assoc. AD for Athletics Development/Exec. Director of AAF spyfrom@ncat.edu 336-285-3063 Whelp, I’m not impressed 😕 The purpose wasn't to impress you. It was to give you contact information for the FULL TIME Associate AD so that you can do something about your rhetoric since you thought it was volunteers running the show.

Can you provide proof that there hasn't been any acknowledgment aside from an advertising campaign? Exhibit A: ncataggies.com/Exhibit B: ncat.edu/

its not so much whether its a myth or not, that's totally irrelevant. what isn't a myth is that that doctrine is the basis for "systemic racism" and that's the point being made. forget about whether the letter is a myth or not, cuz it don't matter one way or the other. unless you understand that doctrine, you'll "never" understand why african americans are in the predicament that we're still in today. don't matter whether the letter is true or not... I mean, people put out stuff all the time as a way to rationalize behaviors and frame it in a historical context in order for it to resonate with people. wca, if you don't understand the "willie lynch doctrine", then you don't understand "systemic racism" and why it still plays a major role in "your life" as well as mine and all african americans. if you don't understand the "willie lynch doctrine", then you don't understand why our people as a whole have not "advanced" educationally, you don't understand why there's a "wealth gap", you don't understand why there's "black on black crime", you don't understand why we have so many "broken homes", and you don't understand why we still have "ghettos". the so called "secret" to controlling slaves (willie lynch doctrine) formed the basis for the "jim crow laws". but you wouldn't understand that if you don't understand the "willie lynch doctrine" and that's exactly what the supporters of the "willie lynch doctrine" want from you which is "TOTAL IGNORANCE" of the "willie lynch doctrine". there's a reason why "reading" was once against the law for african americans, but you wouldn't understand why cuz you think the so called "willie lynch letter" is just "STUFF" that people put out to rationalize behaviors and that's exactly what they want you to believe. apparently you yourself have fallen prey to the "willie lynch doctrine" cuz it is based on imposing "IGNORANCE". that's how you control "slaves" as well as an entire race of people...

Only on BDV can somebody turn a thread asking whether FCS scholly limits are going away into a dissertation about a non-existent doctrine. Lol

Ehh... I am fully aware of the system issues that plague African Americans and the entire diaspora due to Colonialism and Chattel Slavery, along with items such as Apartheid in South Africa and Jim Crow here in the states. And despite these things, I was able to achieve many good things in life due to the upward mobility of a college degree from A&T and PWI I attended for my master's degree. I am fully aware of items such as the Monhiyan Report and how the information within the report was refuted by critics. The Black plight within America is a complex one and one with multiple answers and possible solutions. Yet, that doesn't take away from how multiple scholars suspect the Willie Lynch Letter is fake and was created as a way to spur a specific reaction from its readers. And moreover, I am not sure how this equates with how the NCAA may end up changing how FCS teams are able to divide scholarships for their teams and how that change could further hamper efforts to recruit the best talent and further widen the chasm between the "haves and have nots."
