I think I kinda like how QB saga is unfolding. All four of them should be better at the end of August. The youngsters have the highest ceiling though.

ELI is one of the best QB we have recruited. Its time to stop playing games and go with the best player who is going to put you in a position to win a game. Folwer can be a good backup at best. In a way if fowler had graduate the QB competition would be so easy Yeager vs ELI and to be honest who ever win the job I am good with that.

I agree...it seems Fowler maybe stunting the growth of the younger qbs. Of course, not intentionally, but I think we've seen what Fowler's ceiling is. I say we coach these young guys up and move forward. We all know he has the best arm, but what good is it if it doesn't win us big games.

I'm not sure I see it that way Rain. Fowler as a backup would be ideal. That's what he is most comfortable with. I believe the young man is cerebral but the speed of the game is too much especially when the play goes off-script. He can serve in the role of a vet getting the young guns up to speed with the playbook.
He has shown himself to be a good teammate and the players both past and present seem to like him. I don't see him being cancerous in the locker room. Backup QBs tend to be solid coaches. A de facto grad assistant that can be thrown in if needed. What's not to like?

Fowler biggest problem is he’s flatfooted, if you look at a lot of those off target and over thrown passes, he’s on his heels, either from indecision or just flatfooted, he struggles often to find balance or stay on his toes.

When I say stunting the growth, I only mean that he is playing ahead of someone that could be playing now...that's all. Not that he's a cancer or any of those things. A similar situation that comes to mind is/was, Jason Witten. Albeit he was a helluva player in his prime but, he tried to play a season or two too long which, the tight ends that the Cowboys had couldn't develop through experience...and experience is the best teacher.

I give A&T a D for this product, they didn’t get a F because they put something together.
I’m starting to agree with AggieBlackie, we need to clean house.
This roster doesn’t have the new DB coach on it, still has Frescura and has Kashon Baker on the roster. Doesn’t have Pruinty on it…
There is a lack of attention to detail and care throughout the department

Thanks for sharing. Funny how some kids just magically "grow" on paper and others don't.

This could be a oversight on my part but I don't remember seeing the Freshman Jamison Warren on the field. Any information
