i like that idea, nashville is closer to greensboro than tallahassee and daytona beach, and almost the same as dover, delaware... The question is would the MEAC allow the three of us to be "football only" members? I wouldn't because of the CB money split but are there any real advantages to the MEAC if we are not full members? It would certainly allow ESPN to sharpen their marketing. the advantage would be that the meac would not be in danger of losing its ncaa status as an fcs conference. after all, our bowling team is still in the meac...

The MEAC should take a hard ball approach to this ,You either come back as a Full Member or don't come back , and see who blinks first . Being a football only member dose nothing for the conference in this situation . But it is Paramount for the MEAC to maintain the football playing schools that they do . The MEAC can survive with six football playing institutions , so the cupboard is not bear . Now Baseball is a intirely different situation.

Harvey's endgame has always been the CAA, could he be crossing off his bucket list items before he sails away?

Hampton over Monmouth and Campbell…🤔. The way it reads Hampton secured the invite and Monmouth has not. Kinda makes sense if Elon, Richmond, and W&M were exploring their options. If it is true I wonder if Harvey is going to pull that same stunt he pulled with the MEAC.

Is this something that could happen next year? Could someone take a wild guess and tell me who might be in the BS for football next year? We are playing NDSU, NSU, and NCCU in nonconference next year. What other teams will we add for next year as a nonconference opponent?

Will Hampton be crucified for not rejoining the MEAC? Will Howard be crucified if they decide to leave the MEAC? Will the Big South go after Elon and UNCW?

Well if this happens, most of our toughest Big South football competition will be gone.

I hope our leadership is prepared and has a plan, even if it is not true the big south is a revolving door and we need to have a plan

Makes NCCU coming to Big South more realistic. The Big South finds itself in a most familiar situation..Not enough football teams for playoff contention. This move gets better and better.
