Let me also say that I remember a Charlotte visit by Dr. Martin a few years ago and it being said basically that we had been getting kids that were too nice and needed to do a better job of getting kids that weren't so nice but could/would do what was needed in the classroom. I agreed with that sentiment...Mean Scholars. Trust me: nobody wants to really see how the sausage is made. Just enjoy your breakfast and go about your day.

The problem will correct itself from within. Those players that are designated as leaders and team members will have to hold each other accountable. With that being said, I still believe BigSouth officials will continue to target us because of what we represent. I don't know about that Gator2 π€ First there has to be a force to facilitate and demand the change . Having worked with disenfranchised and at risk youth I have seen first hand when working with adjudicated and probation youth in my charge. In this case it was the judicial system that forced the youth to change their mind set or continue to be Turn Arounds with in the judicial system . It is evident that this team has no team leader, and the only one that came close to showing team leadership in my opinion was Stucky on the field and I don't think that they listen to him . Outside of Stucky there was no leadership. That is why you have coaches to fill the void, Coaches set the boundaries and exact the Disciplinary interaction with input from the team captains and or leaders . If the players leadership is not reinforced / backed up by the HC and Staff your just Pissing in the Wind and hoping that the players get the message .

To me he was leading by example. That more than I can say about a lot of his counter parts on the defense.

You will be amazed at what discipline can fix in a football game. As far as leadership, I have to agree, we didn't have many leaders. I don't mean leaders that lead the wrong way. I thought for sure that Banks would lead the receivers to another level, that didn't happen. As much as the Martin struggled, I don't have anything bad to say about the running-backs. Then, our offensive line had no leadership, our defensive line had no leadership. So, I have to agree, we had no leaders on the team except for in name only!

You're absolutely correct. There's currently over 150 players who have entered the portal since just last Saturday.

I saw Coach Broadway send a player straight to the locker room, he didn't even get to the sideline. I don't recall seeing that from Coach Washington for similar incidents. any chance we can talk coach broadway out of retirement? yeah, i know, probably not. i've seen pictures of him since he retired and he appeared to be quite happy in each one of them. given what we experienced this season, i miss him more now than ever before...

Out of respect for Broadway. He doesn't need the headache rebuilding and staffing a team again 3 is enough Central, Grambling and A&T Broadway earned his retirement Γ 100 .

If he was to engage in some capacity he should gwt paid like a consultants fee who aften times get paid for statating the obvious. Coach B roadway continue to enjoy your retirement for which you have earned for you have taken the path not chosen. What really needs to happen is for Ayantee Football to hibernate and welcome spring with a new mindset day one. In the meantime all players needs to be given a revised playbook as well as a physical regiment schedule diet etc. including a daily mile run. Running backs need to do springs during their mile run. All need to be in the weight room.
