quite frankly, i don't think our team ever practices "clock management". we don't know how to run out the clock with a lead and we don't know how to preserve time when we're playing from behind...

Very slow. I noticed that when we played Furman and we were on the 2 yard line and he had clear sailing to score. They caught him and he fumbled the damn ball and they recovered the ball. That changed the game and we lost our momentum and lost the game.
We ran the same play up here on our field against- forgot who it was - and he got caught again on the 2 yard line with clear sailing - he just didn't fumble this time.

The game ball goes to the Charleston Southern QB…..he was the worst player out on the field and guided us to a victory. It was an ugly win….but a win we desperately needed

Reference to Fowler's speed.

Injuries is a huge problem with this team. Probably more than the staff can comfortably scheme around.
Which means they need to leave their comfort zone.
If Fowler was going to throw two picks, might as well let him do it on 45 pass attempts instead of 26 or whatever. He’ll probably get you a couple tds in there too.
As everyone has noted, if you’re gonna put Ifedi in there, LET HIM PASS. They got him absolutely killed with that last draw play. He could’ve easily turned and passed to Baker as he was motioning and the defense would’ve been absolutely flat-footed for 10 yards or more.
This game reminds me a lot of that Jacksonville State game where we looked like sheeet and we made Jacksonville State look just as bad, then we came up with a stop to end the game.
1.8 yards per carry is painful. You triple that if the defense is more worried about the pass. I have no idea how you fix the penalties. You probably move the ball better if you don’t put so much in the hands of your qb who technically currently only has one hand in the first place. The Duke game plan would’ve worked better IMO, but my opinion isn’t worth a crap. I’m just a guy typing on his phone.

I don’t want to criticize but putting ifedi back there to run the draw AGAIN was stupid and irresponsible. What's stupid is putting him in to run and the intire defense knows that's all he is going to do 😆 Ifedi should have been passing the ball . The more I see of how Washington and his staff are handling this team the more I'm leaning towards giving the intire staff THE BOOT . A&T should have put up 50 on this team . And when ifedi was actually having success in the Monmouth game running, they kept pulling him out. It makes no sense

Hell I think he is more scared than slow. He is always looking for contact and slowing down when defenders get close. He should be able to fall forward and get 3 yards with his size

Charleston Southern had -3 yards rushing. This game should not have been closed.

What were the odds the secondary would clinch the game lol. Give them credit when its due!!! Secondary played big all game. They held the flood gates today and may have caused a few coverage sacks. It was good to see #21 out there, he had a few blips but he showed some things.

And I hope we keep the pistol formation going forward. Majority of our rushing yards came when we switched to that formation.

The way we use Ifedi out there is a waste of a down…this is the Big South we’re in. That tired, predictable mess ain’t gonna fly
