We seem to keep guards in the cupboard but, the bigs are the problem. Bigs that can actually give us some thump down low...

From what we know at this point in the process what do you think our starting lineup will look like and who will be the top players off the bench.

I'll say it. I'm tired of reading about little recruits. Call me when we get a 6-7 or above dynamic player or a 6-9 or 6-10 monster. There yall go! LOL
I constantly see these guys we recruit operate in the land of the "small" with no real bigs to hinder them taking it to the rack, so the floor is open. Then they get to college and dribble the ball for 30 seconds cause they don't see a path to a bucket anymore. Not knocking these guys at all, but I'm a wait and see dude as far as our recruits go until I see one come in and completely live up to the hype.

Sheesh... crazy early, but I'll give it a shot. 1 - Woods/Betts 2 - Horton 3 - Watson 4 - Powell 5 - Felton Bench rotation - Betts/Woods, Elliott, Duke, Robinson, Morrice

The reality is that (adding in Dunc Powell & Will Felton) we're a pretty big team now. And not just from a height perspective. We got some trucks in the lane. The main thing is that the guard play has to space the floor instead of compress the floor. That was happening way too often on offense because we couldn't shoot effectively from outside. Then the bigs have more room to work in the halfcourt, regardless of scheme. Woods & Betts may be the only "small" guards on the roster. Should be interesting watch this take shape.

Everyone on the Team needs to come in being able to put up shots, make FT's and have a desire to rebound. Koach will give them a Defense.
Now, Koach needs new ideas on offense. One should have been refilled with tape and ideas from March madness, and the creativity of certain teams. The Run by St Peters broke down the doors. Our Brand demands that we be a solid Mid-Major.

i'm very concerned about our pg position next season. we're not really bringing back a proven pg and i just don't know that duke is ready as a "starter". could be very tough if we have to rely on a true freshman or the juco transfer.
kam took a lot of criticism from some folks this past season, but i'm very nervous about not having his "floor leadership" next season...

All I'm seeing is more of the same "A Small Ball " mindset. I have yet to see one comment about Smith or Harry or basically and of the returning veteran Bigs players with in game experience. You want to be a force as a mid-major, get your Bigmen involved in a motion offense/offensive system and stop all the standing around. St Pete played with constant ball movement low post screens on offense, you never knew where the shot was coming from or who would be the shooter . That global try to weave it's not going to work at this level . From what I'm seeing from TV's recruiting 👀 we should will expect more of the same .
