The issue is since we are not mandating the shot, what are the consequences for students who test positive. Quarantine the first time, but what happens the second time? If you are sent home if testing positive twice, maybe some parents/students will think differently.
All students should not be punished for the actions of a few.

We’ll, due to the cases, they’re back at stage one protocols on campus. That means the cafe is closed along with all dining areas and won’t be any on campus evens that are in-person for at least 2 weeks.

Since we all are looking forward to FOOTBALL, we should be concerned about visiting the campus due to outbreaks of covid-19. One would think that the students would take the virus and campus rules seriously. Let's hope we don't make the PAPERS again. We will be compared to every campus in the area.

193 student positives since 8/13. By comparison UNCG has reported 82 student positives since 8/9.

There were only 9 positive tests discovered on campus as of 8/30. The mitigation efforts appear to be slowing down the spread.

As a side note: about 5,500 students live on campus of our 13,300 total.
