If the Nexstar deal is done, we have two games on the Nexstar schedule. The closest Nexstar station to us is WGHP Channel 8. That means over-the-air TV coverage for a regular season game! At least to me that's a big deal.

what da hail is "nexstar network"? Ownership group for ABC, CBS, Fox, NBC TV Stations in the US Nexstar Media Group is the largest owner of television stations in the United States, currently owning or operating a total of 197 television stations across the United States, many of which are affiliates of the four major U.S. television networks and are located in markets as large as New York City and as small as San Angelo, Texas. Reposition your thumb OSA.

Any of these TV stations could opt to broadcast a Big South game on their local station to fill programming.

C'mon OSA. The Nexstar games are also on ESPN+. It's additional coverage that we never had. You can't talk you way into this being a bad thing. Geesh! Speaking of the DMV, what is Georgetown, Howard, Towson, and Morgan's TV package for 2021? /which one has a "national" over-the-air network deal? Waiting...

Oleschool is only looking for negatives and is ignoring positives…extra coverage is a positive. Extra coverage is never bad.

Read the damn article or don't comment. i read the damn article and it didn't state "anything" relative to nexstar broadcasts being carried by espn+. matter fact, the article itself states that nexstar broadcasts will be carried "locally", doesn't say "anything" about espn in general or espn+ being an affiliate. but if you say so, i guess its factual. carry on, sir. as you were...
