Absolutely.
So name an endowed scholarship and/or professorship after him.
Which one of y'all will get the petition started and pass the collection plate to do more than that in his honor? Even I believe he's worth more than empty words on a message board.

They received their vaccinations rather early. Both have some immune problems. Wish them well.

i pray that Rev. Jackson and his wife fully recover from covid. hopefully he'll benefit from the same top rate treatments that "45" got and his friends got like giuliani and the texas governor got. anything less would be a moral "disgrace"...

Just saw pictures on Facebook of Jessie's son shaving him and him using a walker to get around. My prayers are with him and his family during these challenging times.

Rev. Jesse Jackson does deserve to be honored in a good manner at A&T. It is astonishing that he has not been honored in some respect already He is in the sports HOF . Still haven't figured that out yet considering he never played a down for the football team . He has been honored by the University but for the wrong thing . Building, street running through campus I can see . But not the spots HOF .

The best way to get Rev Jackson's name on a building is to get a group to make the proper donation. I'm sure there was a group that made the donation for Dr Martin.

We may have a love-hate relationship with Rev. Jackson, but IMO he should be honored with no strings attached just because he is our most notable alumnus.

They have people in the HOF who bought their way in it.

HBCUs are institutions founded prior to 1964 with the intent of providing education to Black Americans. Many PBIs were predominantly White institutions and are now designated as PBIs as a result of changes in the student body composition.
