Nah. The gold would have been a bit much for an outdoor track. That would be more conducive to that new indoor facility we're getting. LOL

I posted this on a thread in the football forum... Since I'm an advocate of turf: - We'll see what it looks like in November - I believe one of the reasons for no turf of being that the javelins would mess it up during track & field events is moot now. They didn't do javelin on the field during the MEAC ships. - I believe we're gonna be the only school with natural grass in the BS - Turf could become a revenue generator (7 on 7 tournaments, Neutral rivalry HS football games, camps, etc.) |
