Just stick with GOLDEN DELIGHT. Don't need any additions or changes to their delightful moniker "Golden Delight". It gives them an aura of sophistication, with style, polish, refinement and class.

We don't need to change Nutting. Bump all those Southern white names for our lovely ladies.
Hell, their bands are sub par to ours anyway. We have the prestige and history of our band and beautiful ladies performing.
We don't need to go into that conference shuffling and bowing. We are superior to all of them.

That's a fair amount of newbies that are being added to the band this year. It should be an interesting band camp this summer and even more so this fall.

Yes. Although there was a decent number, most were woodwinds. I would have liked to see more brass. I guess we'll be playing a lot of ballads. LOL

I was told we didn't have a lot of seniors this year so we should be fine.

I was told we didn't have a lot of seniors this year so we should be fine. That's not a good thing - we never have a lot of seniors. A lot of juniors are trying to graduate and don't come back their last year. Same may happen this year. Best bet is to put some of those woodwinds on brass.

No scholarship dollars enticing them to stay🤦🏾♂️ I think we will be around 200 again...we’ve been hovering around that number since 2017 I think.

It was very difficult to stay that last year, particularly as an Engineering major. I feel for these kids (even though they have it easier than we did LOL).

I marched all 4 years. It was worth it. Played tenor saxophone. I have dedicated scholarship for brass players tho.

Yep. That's a helluva lineup. That might even be worth a trip to Houston.
