should've contracted an agreement to play howard more so than norfolk... How many players do we have from DC metro area? I agree also. In addition to the player recruitment, there's also a greater need for alumni engagement. Don't forget money expanses recruitment. In addition to the Baltimore and DC Alumni Chapters, a new Northern Virginia Chapter has been chartered for Western Fairfax, Loudoun, Prince William, Spotsylvania, Fauquier counties. There have been a number of Friday night receptions with the Chancellor and AD prior to the Howard game. There's a reason WDC is #1 in annual giving. So you're saying these Aggies aren't gonna donate anymore because it's not a game in their area ?

The old are committed, but won't be around for ever. If you don't show reciprocal appreciation via visits/events/receptions etc. you gonna lose the camaraderie that has been fostered since the 50s at such activities. Continuity is very important in fundraising, it doesn't take much to ruffle feathers.

I’m pretty sure if the opportunity presents itself A&T will pick up a game(s) in DC area. It has to be a mutually exclusive agreement some of y’all acting as if A&T is intentionally avoiding the area.

We might have 3 MEAC schools in 2022 if the SCSU contract is for two years. Right our Non Conference as of right now for 2022 is Away NDSU NCCU Home NSU SCSU Yeap! We'll have three HBCU's at home in 2022 (Spartans, Puppies and Pirates) and one on the road (Buzzards).

It has to be a mutually exclusive agreement some of y’all acting as if A&T is intentionally avoiding the area. I don't think that's the case at all. A poster simply stated a preference for Howard, I simply stated a rational why that preference is beneficial to the University. In my mind it's immaterial whether there are/were discussions or not. It's only a preference. I'm also sure there are many other posters that have other teams they would prefer on the schedule.

Some of us are just still mad we're leaving the MEAC. It wouldn't matter how many HBCU games were on the future schedule, who they were against, or the reason we scheduled it. We would still be a little salty. SMH

It's the fact that we're leaving the MEAC for a pwi conference. If we left for a conference with hbcus it wouldn't be an issue.
As for NSU, hopefully we can continue our recent success over them.
