Quite strange to someone who has designed, operated and entered such substations for 30 years. He would have had to attempt to climb up on to energized equipment separate from the fence which is difficult to do by design. My prayers go out to the family...so sad.... Man, I was thinking the same thing. That means he would have had to get past bobwire in most cases. Curious to hear the details. 🙏🏾 to the family! Getting past the barbwire isn't the issue. Just standing or hiding inside an energized substation isn't a problem. Unless there were grounding issues, in which case Duke Energy is in trouble.

I can only imagine the hurt and also confusion that this family is facing... my condolences and prayers to Tarik and family.

can't express all the "hurt" i feel for the cohen family, i can only pray that they're able to get pass the grief and sorrow that i'm sure they're feeling...
