We are seeded 16 because we have no resume...in our only non MEAC D1 game we lost to UNCG.

it don't matter what seed we're given, what difference does it make? ya'll think being seeded 2 or 3 seeds higher is gonna get us to the next round?
every year folk be trippin' on where hbcu's are seeded as if it'll make a difference but it won't...

A few years ago we were a 15 seed vs 2 seeded U South Carolina. Got off to a slow start came back and lost 63-52, against the Sister with now a Statue outside.
Anything can happen.
I saw us vs Florida St I think in Atlanta, and we were in THAT game...even with those touch fouls being called.

If you follow Women’s Basketball GENERALLY speaking it’s very top heavy. No game is a guaranteed win but your chances definitely increase with higher seeding and the draw you’re likely to get versus being at the very bottom and drawing one of those juggernauts at the top.

if i'm not mistaken, a 12 seed would play a 5th seed, correct? when was the last time an hbcu lady's basketball team defeated a 5th seed team at "anytime" during the regular or postseason?

Just off the top of my head Grambling beat Indiana in 2018 and Indiana was in the tourney and finished with 20+ wins yeah but that indiana team wasn't ranked in the top 25 when grambling played them nor was indiana a 5th seed in march madness, they were a "10th seed" that got in with an atlarge bid...
