I tried to find another thread to just reply to but couldn't find one that fit.
All MEAC selections were announced today and your Aggies, which both squads won there respective divisions, had their top players missing from POY awards. Congratulations to those individuals who won the awards, this is nothing against you. However I predicted, as we all know there is a bunch of Aggie hate out there and it clearly reared its ugly head during the voting process.
As someone has said Chanin Scott was the best player on the best team in the league and had the numbers to back that up. Don't know how many votes she got but man every coach that matched up against her knows her value.
FAMU loss four conference games with last seasons MEAC ROY, A&T loses one with preseason POY, and FAMU has COY, "where they do that at?".
All will be corrected when we take care of business in Norfolk and walk away from this great conference as Champions. Got so much more to say but I'm done.

I honestly don't have an issue with Anthony Tarke being Men's POTY. He was that from wire-to-wire.
I do think Kam should have been 1st Team over Dejuan Clayton from Coppin. Clayton scores more from the FT line and takes more shots. Kam is a better floor general, defender & shooter from the field. But since it's close... no favors for A&T.
I think that Ty Lyons, Blake Harris & Kwe Parker could have easily been voted 3rd team over Pinky Wiley of Del. St and Rahsaan Edwards of SCSU (combined 1-28 record between those two). But Ty, Blake & Kwe weren't consistent offensively down the stretch. If any one of them steps up and averages 10 ppg, they're likely on the 3rd team.
So we're a defensive team. And we'll have to prove that again on Friday night in Norfolk.
