She has my vote for POY in the MEAC. Just as an aside note, if she was a Co winner the other person should had been her running mate Deja Winters who avg. 20 pts per game over the weekend.Winters has really step up her game this year.I love their aggressive play along with the rest of the team, hope it continues and they complete their goal to be champions. My congrats to Chanin and the rest of the team. No doubt.....she is has been the most impactful MEAC player this year but preference it as I haven't seen the Northern teams play with the exception of Del St.

It's actually going to be a tight tally between Chanin and Jayla Thornton from Howard who also averaged 14 ppg on 34% 3-pt shooting with Howard having a 14-3 (10-2 in MEAC play). Deja has been very good and should be a lock for 1st-team All-MEAC. But she has had power-outages in the 2nd games of back-to-backs throughout the season. Even when Chanin has not shot well, her rebounding & defense has been a major reason why we've had the season we've had. Every game. But the MEAC has always been finicky with awards voting. So hopefully they get it right.

So I see 1st team All MEAC as: 1. Scott - A&T 2. Deja - A&T 3. Rivera - Central 4. Thorton - Howard 5. - probably someone from the Northen Division?

Maybe I'm biased... but I don't think there's been a better 1 in the MEAC than SK Darks. She'll certainly be on the All-Rookie Team, but she has a chance for 1st team as well.

Once again we face MEAC A&T bias, can't wait to get to the Big South. I hope they do use this as motivation and both the men and women take our last tournament championships.

Yes we got the sham but the MEAC is a struggling conference so I am sure they wanted to do anything to recognize the schools that remain.
How the heck did Coach Robinson not get Coach of the year.... Nothing better than to win both Men and Women championships and and recognize the other schools with a head nod on the way out the door.

So, when do we start the “We Want Howard” chant?

Just really wish they would allow fans into the arena for MEAC championships. Story lines abound for potential A&T vs Howard in WBB and A&T vs CSU in MBB.
So much buildup and you're talking about potential 1-time winner take all matchup for MEAC titles.
