The article also noted a new student rec center for that area. The new space, which has no set construction date, is planned be around 200,000 square feet, which is roughly the same size as UNCGs center. They plan to have: bowling alleys, basketball courts, yoga and dance studios, a boxing gym, a climbing wall, and an outdoor soccer field adjacent to it. The space will also create a link to the northern part of campus via a bridge, that will start at the terminus of John Mitchell Drive. (Sorry for the crazy sizing of the images, this is being uploaded from my phone)

A&T will continue to grow as long as we don’t stop raising the bar.

My version:
We'll grow as long as Dr Martin is chancellor.
His successor will have to "prove" she/he is capable of continuing the growth.

Hmmm is this foreshadowing of possibly adding soccer to our list sports?

Hmmm is this foreshadowing of possibly adding soccer to our list sports? If/When soccer is added, it'll likely be played in Truist Stadium. Let's not derail this into another Grass debate.

If/When we do add soccer it will not be played at Truist Stadium. This has been discussed at a couple of AAF meetings a year or so ago. Initially we would play at Bryan Park until a proper soccer complex is built (turf) on the land just recently acquired for campus expansion. Best guess? We're probably 3-4 years away.
