FCS Spring 2021: The Best Returning LB In Each ConferenceSam Herder HERO Sports Feb. 9, 2021
The unique 2021 FCS spring season is right around the corner. The first game is scheduled for Feb. 13 (McNeese State at Tarleton State), and 22 games are scheduled the following week.
As of this writing, only a limited number of teams have opted out of the spring. With each passing day, it gets more likely this unprecedented season is going to happen. So it’s time to start looking at the top returning players.
This series will look at the top returning player at each position in every conference.
*Not included in these rankings:
>Conferences that have opted out as of the publish date >Players on teams that have opted out as of the publish date >Players who are in the transfer portal as of the publish date

My question is how did all these other scheools miss on Roberts, he is extremely good and Howard has worked his butt off since coming to A&T also!

Talent evaluation has been top notch over the last decade starting with Coach Broadway and nothing has changed in that regard under Coach Washington.
Most of these larger programs get all wrapped up in seeking out "ready straight out the box" recruits and don't care to spend a lot time on individual player development.
