OK, the SCSU Bulldogs lost a practice game in the spring. Shake it off, put in the work this week and win the next practice game. Nah Playa , spring , fall, winter, an L is an L on any given Saturday

I knew this was a failure when Buddy Nicks over fields. You would think Buddy wouldn’t make the same mistakes he did 15 months ago? Fields ain’t that good either... AA&MU dominated that game on both sides of the ball.

AA&MU dominated that game on both sides of the ball. Please don't be overly critical of SCSU's QB (Corey Fields). He is overcoming a very personal tragedy, which I'm just hearing about within the hour...Bulldogs’ Fields honors his brother in openerBy Joe Gorchow, WIS-TV Columbia March 6, 2021 at 6:48 PM EST - Updated March 6 at 6:48 PM
ORANGEBURG, S.C. (WIS) - South Carolina State opened the spring season Saturday with a heavy heart.
The Bulldogs’ starting quarterback, Corey Fields, buried his brother Friday (yesterday). His brother died in an ATV accident several days before that, according to head coach Buddy Pough.
“He’s a real man’s man when you talk about Corey Fields,” said Pough.
Fields opted to remain with the team every day after his brother died to prepare for the opener at home against Alabama A&M...

He’s gotta be walking around with a heavy heart. At that age, I doubt that I would have tried to play. He's a strong young man. Again, my condolences go out to his family and loved ones.

It's been so long since I've seen A&T football, there's not a single game on that slate that interests me right now. The Big South schools and Furman would be intriguing to watch as future opponents but that's six months away. SCSU-no need after last week. Tenn State - REALLY don't care. Jackson State -playing MVSU speaks for itself. Maybe I'll channel surf.

I feel the same way and thought as much when I posted the game listings But, I will be watching spring football anyway when I'm not watching Aggies/basketball.
