Okay, it's too cold to go to the driving range and there's nothing on TV so I watched all our Celebration Bowl games (Beginning to end, commercials included) and realized (again) how important our field goal kicker is! That said, did we recruit somebody to replace Noel? I think we have good QBs to replace Carter but what about our kicker? The past 5 seasons we've had outstanding field goal kickers so I hope we continue that tradition.

We signed a pair of freshman kickers last year - Andrew Brown, 5-10,170 from North Davidson HS in Lexington, NC (all conference, All-Region, East-West All-star, Carolinas Conference Male Athlete of the Year. He's what us old heads call a "thunderfoot." We also signed Elliot Kadans (6-3,170) from Mitchell HS from up in Swain Co. (Bakersville, NC).An outstanding punter as well as a placekicker. |
