NCCU has to cancel Winter Sports at this point. Fall Sports are already done and it’s doubtful their Spring Sports can begin.

cdc says its "safe" for schools to open if proper precautions are taken and that the covid infection rate is much lower in schools than the general community. i really don't understand why central is having so many problems, their administration must not be taking adequate precautions...

Central is not alone. Just look at what your Washington Wizards have gone through (which is much more serious than the general public knows).

Covid-19 is real, my friends! That's it, that's all!!! Program management is not. If they were not ready, they should have opted out in November.

Spoke to a NCCU Coach who said they will run Outdoor Track ( no indoor since there will be no MEAC Championships).

Schools should use the money they've gotten for COVID response to invest in the right technologies and controls rather than leaving it to chance or just doing the bare minimum in terms of testing, masks and social distancing.

CDC recommendation was in reference to elementary through high school....College is a different animal.....Obviously some schools have been significantly better at managing player controls & safety than others and NCCU is not one of them
I think we have had more issues during the summer early fall so did UNC....which in away may have given some kids a degree of immunity combined with better safety protocols
