.With the exception of famu/bethune the MEAC doesn't have consistent bands and they hardly ever travel...I'm not blaming our band/staff, but somehow they have to get more than that 100k budget... )
The Band is considered a Major Draw to Football Games as Well! and if they're weren't there, FANS WOULD BE COMPLAINING!

Even @ Duke the showing was different. We had to sit ‘wherever’, and when Ja’ broke that long run ( his speed is still underestimated), the Nation came alive! Brothers cheered with a frown on their faces-of “d@nm right. “Aggie Pride rang about so much that some of my Durham peeps said Wow! ( It was like a “we are who we are” type of vibe, and we are not star-struck).
In the Big South we will be a must see game. We need to bring the whole show with us.

Another "constant" is the band lol yeah but nobody goes to a football game "only" to watch the band except perhaps the parents of the band members. ya'll act like the band is the major attraction at football games and the game is "secondary". that's not true. ask the players and coaches who the fans come to see? its the other way around and will "always" be the other way around. folk primarily come to the game to "watch the game", let's not get it twisted. nfl teams don't even have bands at their games, yet they have "zero" problems drawing fans to their games... People come to an HBCU game for the GameDay experience. The total GameDay experience. It's like why people go to the beach...the ocean, the sun, the sand, cute tight young bodies in bikinis... what was I talking about? The whole package. Unfortunately we've got to do a better job letting people know about that GameDay experience. We have all the pieces...a winning team, one of the nation's top marching bands, some great looking coeds and a great stadium. Now we've got to invite more people in our community to come share this experience.

I agree. And some of these schools don't travel as well as they pretend that they do. the schools that i see that travel well are Southern and JSU. The rest only travel for high profile matchups. i agree. imo, southern, jsu, and famu have the best hbcu traveling fanbases, "maybe" tenn. state after those schools...

Maybe I am reading the question wrong, "do we "travel" well. I thought this meant do we follow our football team when they are playing away from Aggie Stadium. Oh, I meant Truist Stadium.
If we are talking about attendance away from our stadium I think we travel well. We had more fans in Atlanta at the CB every year. Might have been a tie the first year.
When we played at the Circle City Classic we had a great turnouts each year and we clearly had the best band in attendance those years.
When we go to cities like Norfolk, DC, Hampton,Daytona and others our turnout is very good.
On the other hand I have not witnessed big fan turnout from those schools when they come to Greensboro.
I was just wondering about the actual question, did some people actually steer away from the actual question?
Maybe I misunderstood the question 🤔.

aggieblack2 you understood the question exactly. My experience is that we do indeed travel well. Anytime we are away from my experience we occupy the majority of the seating allotted to visiting teams. I think this will be the norm in the Big South save for the Robert Morris and Monmouth trips.

You guys are assuming that 1) fans will be allowed to attend the games and 2) the BGMM will also be allowed to perform. On our away games, I think the BGMM is a very big factor in our local fans attending. I've been to a few away game where the BGMM did not perform and it was sad!

Don't forget the casino downtown...a nice travel package can be put together for away games to Robert Morris...now the BGMM won't be able to travel, their stadium is small and single-sided

In fact, my high school stadium's capacity (in Pittsburgh) is just under 10,000 for football.
