We have a little over a month before we "before we put the ball down". And less that that for tune-up practices. So, that being said I have a few questions. (Everytime I rock my A&T gear casual fans ask me about the team.
How are our QB's? (I know that the room is full of some experience and developing talent.)
Are we still RBU? Are there successors to The Cohen/.Cartwright/Martin line of Devine?
The O-Line/Brandon Parker House of Pancakes, has who eating now?
Are we DBU with Mac and the Bandits clinging to 'every little step you take"?
Man I haven't even mentioned the linebackers! Nor the D-Line inspired by Bam Johnson with the Bills.
Jeeze...I saw our kicking game beat App State years ago by pinning them down with great punts, and recently our FG game has been tight.
Ive seen videos of guys doing this and that...Man With this weird year are high school guys graduating early.
Transfers...who do You want to see put their hand in the dirt?
Man, I'm about to bust loose. Give me something, except for the secrets!

Need to see an updated roster before I can get a sense of this current team.
Not sure who is coming back from last year.

DL is, probably, our strongest area with quite a few 3 stars and some 2 stars with size and speed to go along with our non-starred high performers. As far as I'm concerned, it's RIDICULOUS!

Never mind how the team looks...will we the fans actually get to see them play? I know it will be like the movie "Groundhog Day" but will any of us be able to see the damn games? Is someone working right now to make sure our fans can stay at home and watch this "RIDICULOUS" team play? I don't need any fancy broadcasting cameras, hell I'll even watch somebody with a Iphone broadcasting the game, but we got to see the games!

Out of curiosity, I checked SCSU's website to see if they had a streaming option setup and I did see this.
GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY ANNOUNCES UPGRADE TO SC STATE’S WILLIE JEFFRIES FIELD 1/6/2021 6:46:00 PM
ORANGEBURG, SC – South Carolina State held a groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday (Jan. 6) to announce the replacement of the synthetic turf at Oliver C. Dawson Stadium. The re-surfacing of Willie Jeffries Field will begin immediately and is scheduled for completion in early February, according to Bulldog athletics director Stacy Danley.
The Bulldogs kickoff their spring football season Feb. 20 when SC State hosts North Carolina Central. The facility is also used by the Lady Bulldog soccer team.
Funds for the $353,000 project were raised through private donations from alumni and others via the RISE (Renovate, Innovate, Scholarship and Excellence) Major Gift Initiative spearheaded by Danley and Kemberly Greene, assistant AD for Development and Community Relations. Over $2.3 million has been raised with pledges and one-time gifts through the initiative, which will also fund the enhancement of other SC State facilities, including re-surfacing the Bulldog track and field complex, Danley said.
"It's a great day for Bulldog athletics," Danley said in greeting the attendees at the ceremony, which was streamed live. "What a journey it has been since I had a vision to make the (athletics) department at SC State one of the premiere programs in the country. And, I want to thank all of our donors for believing in us.
"The greatest impact of this project is to enhance the welfare of our student athletes," continued Danley, who is in his third year as Bulldog athletics director. "Our effort began some two years ago and I'm proud of this moment and especially happy for our student athletes."
Attendees included a number of RISE donors, school administrators, athletic department staff, students, alumni and community supporters. Over eighty persons participated virtually through Zoom and others viewed the proceedings through Facebook and YouTube.
Those who symbolically broke ground at the ceremony included SC State president James E. Clark, Danley, Green, RISE co-chair Dr. George Bradley, SCSU board chairman Rodney Jenkins, head football coach Buddy Pough, soccer head coach Melissa Sherwood and football player Chris Simmons.
President Clark hailed the initiative which will make participation by SC State athletes and visiting athletes safer and healthier.
"SC State has been a beacon for preparing young people seeking to get an education and enjoy stellar experiences," Clark said. "And, athletics has been at the core of notoriety the University has enjoyed. And, it's a tribute to the accomplishments made by our athletes and coaches. I am excited about this project, with it being the first of several that will enhance the experience of our athletes."
Also making remarks during the ceremony were Jenkins, Bradley, Pough, Sherwood, Simmons and Coach Willie Jeffries, who participated vis Zoom.
The turf being replaced at Willie Jeffries Field was installed prior to the 2006 football campaign. Shaw Sports Turf of Calhoun, GA is in charge of the project.

hey, scsu's primary concern right now should be to "soundly" get back on their financial feet. i agree that they should have streaming video, but right now they have more important things to be financially concerned about including enrollment...
