NCCU @ FAMU this upcoming weekend was just postponed. It’s only Monday...we’re still 5 days out and they’ve already called it. They did not say where the problem is...Durham or Tallahassee.
I don’t know how we will finish this season up. It’s getting tougher and tougher by the day.

We have just gone into national lockdown No 3 until mid to end of february. New variant Covid virus is 50-80% more transmissible and the cases in the UK are completely out of control with 60000 cases a day. I have heard rumours of NCAA season shutting down, but let's hope this doesn't happen. However the good thing about playing double headers, it does leave some weekends free to play catch up.

Per an Eagle, NCCU has also postponed the January 16 & 17 home games against SC State. That's 2 weeks out.
And it's not just us. Florida State is postponing games left-and-right. Villanova has postponed their next three upcoming games. The NCAA will get their March Madness tournament in come hell-or-high water, but this is getting very difficult.
POMMIE, I saw on the national (US) news last night how you guys are shutting down. Continue to stay safe over there!

Thanks and yes keeping our heads down. Having said that vaccinations are going well and they are aiming for 2m per week with both Pfizer and Oxford/Astra Zeneca. My 81 year old mother gets hers on thursday, so soon we will have enough people vaccinated to ease the burden on the NHS. Currently hospitals full of covid patients, but death rate not as high as before. However health workers completely exhausted and they need a break.

This is where the MEAC made a mistake with the split conference. It might have could have schedule games in NCCU absence. We do have some flexibility on the South side with only 12 games plus A&T and NCCU can play anytime in the week since it not much travel. The only thing I wish NCCU would announce how many people are out. The names are confidential which is fine but give us a number of how many guys are out.

I follow the Premier League, so I have soft spot for England specifically, and the UK in general. Prayers go out to your mum (am I saying that right?). Everybody stay safe.

So'hampton? We've (Arsenal) got you lot early next month. I watched last night's game. You guys played 'Pool off the pitch. Hate to admit it, but I'm fearing our visit to St. Mary's.

Home games are off this weekend. FAMU returned a positive test, so I assume tonights game against SC State is also cancelled. Not looking good to finish the season in either north or south divisions.

I didn't know we had a game tonight. But not surprised at any postponements/positive tests. It's gonna be tough to finish this year with college co-eds not in a bubble.

No, FAMU had SCSU tonight, so that's probably cancelled
