Well first and foremost congratulations to this young man for turning his life around and A&T for giving him the opportunity to do such. This is what we all knew and saw when he first stepped on the field in an A&T jersey.
This answers our question as to whether or not he will be playing in the spring . Now I wanted him to play but after seeing this I’m guessing the pro scouts have seen more than enough.

Yep, looks that way. Good for him, though.

If I were him I probably wouldnt play...just train for the Pro Days and potential combine. January and February are win guys start training for the pro days...He has nothing to gain by playing football and risking injury. The NFL draft is scheduled for 29 April...any slight injury or bad performance could drop his draft stock.

I dont understand. Why would this recognition prevent him from playing 4 games in the spring ... or even coming back to complete his final year of eligibility in the fall?
There is no actual event attached to the 2021 Collegiate Bowl invite. This is more of a symbolic gesture.
To my knowledge, he has not yet declared for the 2021 NFl draft or even received an invite to the 2021 NFL scouting combine.
Ironically, he recently tweeted this:
I dont get the sense that he opting out of the proposed spring schedule.

I for one would advise Jah not to play the 4 game season and focus on increasing his speed by training with the Track team and maybe run a few meets in preparation for the combine or Pro-day . Why play in 4 meaningless games . He is already a none commodity around the NFL the risk is not worth the reward in my opinion.

Our T&F coach won't allow Footballers to train with the Track Team unless they're committing 100% to track.

I don't think it indicates anything regarding whether he plays in the Spring. Mac was selected for the Shrine Bowl Game. Neither of these "all star" games are slated to actually be played. Unless a draft service projects them to be drafted, this accolade alone should not be the only determinant. The other factor is whether or not an agent is willing to invest in paying for pre-draft training. Combine type preparation can cost $10,000.
I think Jah has enough film, but not enough eyes on him in person. It's been written about this year that scouts trust film at P5 level much more than at other levels.

Did you watch the Oklahoma State vs Miami game last night when the OSU WR opted out to stop playing in the middle of the game because he felt as if he got injured he’d lose his shot at the NFL? Same reason why Jah may not play .... To prevent any injury..knock on wood

Otherwise, you are fooling yourself. Remember, our all time leading receiver couldn't even get into somebody's tryout. Our kids have to play at every opportunity if they are healthy.

Then add on his questionable foot speed and route running.

Track and football go hand and hand especially at the skill positions RB,Receivers so there is no reason that Jah man could not train with the team as far as there workout are concerned especially there blocks work outs .

Also our all time leading receiver had NO speed . I can not remember the name of that kid , he played receiver he dropped more passes than he caught . He was not invited to the NFL Combined but he got a free agent invite to camp by some team . His name skips my mind. Speed will get you in to a NFL camp . Trust me If Jahman turns out a 4.3 or even 4.4 at the Combined or on his Pro day will only his chances of getting Drafted .

You can't remember the name of the all-time leading WR in school history? The guy who played for us LAST season?
The guy who you said would make a perfect NFL tight end?
You can't remember that guy?

Bell from West Virginia who won the Randy Moss award for his state , the guy that should have been playing TE . I didn't want to put his name out there considering what you said about him .
