i like martin, i really thought he'd have a chance to make the nfl and still do. question is, which "new" pro league is better between the xfl and usfl?
either way, if he keeps performing well and have a few "outstanding" games, it'll improve his chances of making it to the next level (nfl) cuz he's still very young. and if he continues to get only 9 or 10 carries per game, his body won't take a beating that'll wear him down prematurely...

Still not seeing that great initial burst from Martin or his ability to make guys miss. Hopefully that will be on display soon.

Martin had a tough game today. Two lost fumbles and the Guardians fell to 0-3 with a 9-10 defeat.

Hopefully that will be on display soon. i don't think he ever was the type of rb that makes folk miss tackles as a result of his "wiggle". cohen was that guy, he'd break your ankles with his "sudden cuts". but you're right about martin's burst. if he made folk miss tackles, it was because of that "burst" where you think you have a shot to tackle him, but he "accelerates" so quickly that before you know it, he's "gone"! tuten had that same "burst" as martin. matter fact, my "personal" nickname for tuten was, "he's gone"...

He needs to be more of a straight downhill runner he scored a touchdown last week they called it back on holding but he ran over the guy he needs to do more of that and stop doing all that wiggling that don't get him nowhere because he just don't have the speed around the corner. If he keeps fumbling the ball he want have job I don't care what league you play in

He was a down hill runner type of back . And which "Burst" are you referring to ? Burst to and through the hole or his straight line vertical speed once he gets to the second or 3rd level. Martin is an effective Down Hill between the tackles runner and that's what counts . He's doing fine .

i'm really pulling for martin, i'd like to see him make it to the nfl. he did not look like himself the last season he played for us. i prefer to remember the martin that played in the celebration bowl and rushed for 1,400 yards that season. that version of jah martin would've got some consideration from the nfl...

Its hard to say why he did not look like himself we all have had the conversation gain weight, angle injury etc.... But when I see him in the XFL he still do not look like him self vs the year 2019 but anyhow I wish him the best.
