I think that is a long gap between March 6 and March 27. I wish we could have gotten a non conference game in but this a pandemic so I am thankful if we can get it in

I think that is a long gap between March 6 and March 27. I wish we could have gotten a non conference game in but this a pandemic so I am thankful if we can get it in I would like to see us not play OOC games within that 2 week period as we may need the breaks for quarantining.

Agreed. Take what you can get and not try to be greedy. I’m pretty sure there are some other teams out there looking to fill their OOC space though.

If we treat these contests like Spring ball I definitely think it is a bad idea. I dont want to see our third string guys getting meaningful playing time against SCSU's starters.
Let's remember that we are still operating in the midst of a global pandemic. I know many of your Legion of Gloomers conveniently forget that whenever you are not in an online debate.
Is playing two games apiece against Central and SCSU this spring worth the calculated risk? What about if we have to postpone and reschedule any of those games because a player tests positive?
I am not sure these 4 games are worth the headache.

Win the five games, play in the FCS Tournament and see what we can do. 8 weeks of practice and evaluation is better than the kids doing nothing until the Summer.
