Changed my mind from waiting until the MEAC. I don't believe he'll run an 8 man rotation. He's said he has 13 good players, or something like that. I expect he'll play up to 12 players depending on matchups, hustle, way playing during the game, etc. Starters: Langley Parker Lyons T. Jones Morrice Off the bench in no particular order: Harris Cleveland Robinson Q Jones Maye Duling Filmore You gotta pick just eight. Force yourself to do it. It's hard. I wanna see.

starting 51 - kam 2 - tyler maye 3 - kwe 4 - ty lyons 5 - harry first off the bench1 - harris 2 - q. jones/t. jones 3. - cleveland mia squad1 - greer 2 - j. robinson 3 - duling C'mon OSA. No slashes allowed. You have to pick between the Jones boys. heck, i haven't seen "major impact" from neither one of them. this jones duo doesn't even "remotely" come close to replacing the production of ron jackson and devin haygood, very "disappointing" and that's a problem. welp, since cleveland hasn't been very productive either, maybe i should drop him to the "mia squad" and let the jones bruthas take the 2 and 3 slots on the "first off the bench" squad...

My personal starting 5:
Kam Blake Kwe Ty Harry
6th - Maye
Rotational guys:
Duling T. Jones Q. Jones J. Robinson W. Fillmore
Caveat: Depending on the team, we may have to have Kwe or Blake coming off the bench in lieu of Fillmore, Robinson, or T. Jones starting. I agree with DSO regarding having T. Jones starting some games and finishing in the last 8 - 10 mins of the game with Harry.

Again ask "What happening with the 7'JCO player ? I saw him in one game on the floor with Harry before Jones pulled both He's still there but coach is allergic to height. LOL I don't think that he knows how to coach Bigs. All those years we have been hoping and praying for players over 6'9" and we get two 6'11" and a legitimate 7-footer and both have size Coach Jones needs to get his act together. It's like he is going backwards in time.

We'll see what happens with him.

We'll see what happens with him. You can't teach 7'0 and he can only learn by playing. He has good hands and a decent body size to clog the middle and get a few rebounds. That's more than several of our 6'5 guys can do, raw or not.

Ill bet cash money if we go back five years, into BDV and the dawg pound and come up to todays date, you will read the same exact conversation, with the same exact questions and answers. We have a insane administration! (with the exception of the one year we had the Coach from Long Island) We don't have GROUND HOG DAYS, WE HAVE GROUND HOG YEARS!

With as many jump shots guards and wings are putting up, your 7 footer should just rim run to attack both glasses, especially if he's "raw". These are things you don't have to know anything about basketball to do.
-Run as fast as you can between rims and position yourself to get any rebound.
-if you get rebound, outlet to guard and run as fast as you can to other rim.
-the key in defense is to be between the rim and your man, and at 7' defensively in the post or against dribble penetration, all I want you to do is "wall up" to bother shot attempts.
-once shot is up, pivot and box out shooter and be ready to attack glass.
Can't believe I'm saying this but I would find the group of guys that fit this build and I would make watch Chicago Bull videos of Rodman and say duplicate this in your game.
With one or 2 guys that give you 50% of that type effort, I think we'll be OK.

VA Finest, I would give this lineup a shot based on your post.. I'll call my "FEED THE POST" squad:
PG Langley SG Parker C Greer PF Morrice SF Lyons
Parker makes this lineup because of the ability he showed last year to hit the three ball. Also, both he and Langley will pound the boards from the guard position. I would bet money that the +/- on this lineup would surprise many folk.
My first sub would be Tyler Jones.
