This is an exact replica of 2020 all over again for almost all of the FCS. After those 4 or 5 guys taken from the MVC in the middle rounds no FCS players were taken over the last 129 picks in today's draft. Not playing any football this year in the fall pretty much killed all of these kids' chances to hear their names called. Small schools need not apply during a pandemic.

Aggie Ones absolutely correct. Do I think Mac is talented enough to make it yes. But take a step back ....What elevated Tarik ? the combine.....what elevated Parker’s draft status ? his performance in the senior bowl and practice at senior bowl.
What hurt Mac; he never got to play in any of those senior / all star games and it’s not so much playing the game but that week of practice against other probable draft picks. It’s not the fact he is coming from a small school or conference because as example Carolina is a power 5, I think they had 2 or 3 players drafted however it’s 83 other scholarship players on that team that did not get drafted
No fall season or spring season also left the last major body of work out there ....the last Celebration Bowl which was not a good look
I am all in on Mac and I think he will be a Bronco come September !!!

All they need to see is how a player does against top competition. Example: Denver drafted a Division III offensive lineman who showed his worth at the Senior Bowl. Mac will do well. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to see him in person.
