If I were Hilton right now, I'd be sending Kyle Kallander all kinds of 'Hey Big Head' texts đ

Most of the conference should truly just go back to D2 with exception of like 2 teams at most. Getting kind of pointless. I think itâd be easier on everyone in the long run. Less expensive, less expectations.

So weâll be having MBB & WBB, Track, Volleyball, Baseball, Softball, Golf, Tennis, and Cross Country all at once but no football? How are all these sports (some non-revenue) going to be able to risk travel and games for months on end but âthe juice isnât worth the squeezeâ to continue with football?

The contract tracing mitigation thatâs needed on top of the physical stress on the players. Letâs say you have a WR testing positive, you have to shut down that whole position for 7-10 days as they have to isolate. Itâs easier to track our smaller teams in this environment it seems.

That exact logic you just applied has been true for MONTHS now. Literally since the summer. That didnât just magically become an issue two weeks before the season. So if it was COVID driven, why wait till 15 days left to advocate for player safety when theyâve already ran alllll the risks since July? Players literally stayed on campus, left home, some even caught the virus, staff ran the risk of catching the virus, literally followed all procedures needed to play, yet canât 15 days before the year. If safety was the driving force you wouldâve pulled the plug a longggggg time ago.

Thank you, sir. You are one of the few people here who seem to have critical thinking skills.

After re-watching the presser, it appears Earl felt it wasnât worth playing a 3-game schedule after Norfolk dropped. It seems the conference wasnât willing to budge on going away from the conference championship game.

And from the looks of how teams are being juggled as options to play SC State, it wouldnât have been hard for us to find another game to play as the #10 team in the nation. SOMEBODY out of 92 teams has a open slot. And chances are theyâd find us.
