Here are the MEAC's 2021 Spring Football Schedules: meacsports.com/documents/2020/10/21//MEAC_FB_Spring_Schedule.pdf?id=5384 I still don't agree with playing football in the second wave of a worldwide pandemic...or playing two seasons within one calendar season. I'm not convinced that this will even take place.
HOWEVER, if you're going to do that anyway, and save travel expenses in the process, this spring football schedule makes sense. I don't have a problem playing a team twice in one (spring) season under these circumstances.

I hope the weather will cooperate. So I thinking we might get 2K for the NCCU game hopefully?
By the way is March 27 game with FAMU our mini GHOE.

The only thing they could've done differently was had our trip to Florida in February, instead of us having two home games in that month.
Average temperature in Greensboro February 52/30 March 61/38 April 72/46

Why do we play Central and BCU twice?

Because we are not playing the Northern schools at all. Everything was split into two regions in order to reduce travel and virus exposure.

A&T was the only school screwed by the conference by having a home football game coupled with a home basketball doubleheader on the same day...February 27th.
FOOTBALL: Bethune-Cookman @ NCA&T BASKETBALL (DH): SC State @ NCA&T

So, is it true that MEAC institutions have until November xx, 2020 to opt out of the spring season?

Staffing, including security, will be overextended. Depending on the amount of fans being allowed in the game, event staff maybe limited.

I'm guessing (and hoping) that they will limit admittance to only those names on the Player Guest Lists (for both teams/both schools) for basketball games.
I tend to think that football admittance will be limited to not more than 20% of capacity.
We don't need for these games to become Super Spreader Events in our Black communities.

I will also say. It is very important that these guys do well in school for the fall semester so they can play in the Spring.
